TS
Plzen (formerly Skoda TS) is one of the most renowned manufacturers
of heavy equipment worldwide. Its main products are hydraulic forging
presses, hydraulic extrusion presses, tire curing presses, rolling
mills and sugar mills. TS Plzen (formerly Skoda TS) is located in
Pilsner, famous for its Pils beer. Its first press was designed
already in 1872 and we have delivered by now nearly 1700 presses
and hydraulic plants. The highest standard of design and technical
solutions built into each of our presses are based on its long tradition
and on highly qualified and experienced team of engineers and workers.
TS Plzen presses and other heavy equipment are heavy duty machines
designed and built to stand up to the rigors of three-shift manufacturing.
They run for forty years and longer with minor routine maintenance.
The fact that TS Plzen hold the ISO 9001 Quality System Certificate
is more than obvious.

TS Plzen (formerly Skoda TS) has been a major split
off company of the SKODA Holding a.s.. TS Plzen provides its customers
with the full scope of services, from consultation and initial studies
to elaboration of technical documents, manufacture, deliveries,
installation and putting the delivered equipment into operation.

The dates below are crucial in the history of TS Plzen:
1859 - foundation of SKODA Works
1860 - starting of the production of gear units
1866 - starting of the production of rolling mills and hydraulic
presses
1932 - starting of the production of sugar cane factories
1965 - starting of the production of curing presses
1993 - establishment of SKODA TS s.r.o. (Ltd.)
2000 - establishment of SKODA TS a.s. (joint-stock company)
2003 Appian Group became an owner of ŠKODA HOLDING
2004 ŠKODA TS a.s. became the member of Železiarne Podbrezová Group
2007 ŠKODA TS a.s. changes its name into TS Plzeň a.s.
